edit Introduction

MATE is a software environment for building and using grammatical and lexical resources for Natural Language Processing in the Meaning-Text framework. It was developed by Bernd Bohnet at the University of Stuttgart.

This page will provide information about MATE and the tools it contains. You will find also information about how to create grammars and dictionaries in this specific formalism. Eventually there will be sample grammars available for download.
